DIANE F. VALLENTINE is a member of the firm with a diversified civil practice focusing primarily on representing businesses in all aspects of Commercial Litigation, Commercial Transactions and Bankruptcy Law. An accomplished litigator for 30 years, Ms. Vallentine is a well known and respected litigator in Alaska.
Ms. Vallentine's experience covers a broad range of matters, including:
- Serving as lead counsel or sole counsel on numerous cases involving contract disputes, fraud, corporate dissolutions, foreclosures, partnership/shareholder disputes, employment issues, real estate, secured lending, banking law and collection issues.
- Handling hundreds of cases to final resolution by settlement, mediation, dispositive court decision and trial.
- Acting as an expert witness in cases involving corporate dissolutions and shareholder rights, commercial transactions, and bankruptcy law.
Ms. Vallentine has been an active and visible member of the Alaska litigation scene for three decades. Through the years she has served as President of the Alaska Bar Association, the Anchorage Bar Association and the Alaska Academy of Trial Lawyers. Ms. Vallentine has also been honored with the Anchorage Bar Association Distinguished Service Award.
Ms. Vallentine speaks regularly on a range of topics related to commercial litigation, bankruptcy and ethics.
